One of my favorite days of the year is when Dan and his Cutters team come and do the annual tree clean up. They are a delight, bring so much joyful efficient energy. The trees on our lot and everything just looks beautiful and like it can breathe happier after they are here. I had reached out about a tree trimming and laying down some trees that have passed. Dan as always is so responsive. He came a took a look. I was a bit behind and had not reached out to schedule an appointment in the following month and a half. When to my delight he texted and said they were in the area would we like to do it midday. Fabulous to have something up and take itself off a long to do list. Our trees look so pretty and like they are not overcrowded with branches. Plus they help our canopy trees that are very tall but try to grow branches the rest of the way down that would compromise the health and nutrition going to the top of the tree. Very happy as always! Original review We reached out to Dan for a quote to have a few trees cleaned up and removed. We love the trees on our new property and wanted to give them the TLC they needed to thrive. In the decade prior, the trees had not been properly trimmed or maintained. We hired Cutters Unlimited. They book about 1-2 months in advance. They were very helpful when we had to wait to book due to another remodeling project finishing. Dan was so incredibly helpful in advising which trees were crowded, which were struggling and what we should do. He respected and worked with us to preserve and cultivate a better habitat for the trees. He also advised what we should remove as they were too close to our house, well or another tree. He is very knowledgeable on tree species and things like root systems. I wanted to make sure the root systems would not hurt parts of our home they were near. Dan is incredibly responsive. He always responds quickly and when he says he will be somewhere he is. I was so impressed by Dan's crew. They worked like a professional league sports team or in their case tree cutting & maintenance league. They showed up on time/early. Set up their trucks along the street and did not park on any neighbors yard only the street. They all had their tasks and were off to it. I sincerely appreciated their care when parking in front of neighbor's homes or using the driveway they were okayed to use. The team all had proper safety gear on and took care. Given how dangerous tree trimming can be this was wonderful to see how seriously they take safety. Had a lovely morning watching all their great work and enjoyed the product of their labors afterwards. Our home and trees look beautiful. We could not be happier with our experience and the results. I would go out of my way to recommend Cutters Unlimited, LLC. Dan & his crew are a class operation. The morning of the day I was scheduled it was pouring rain so I was expecting a phone call that they would reschedule, but not these guys. They showed up on time and started in the rain, luckily it cleared up late morning. I was also worried about damage to surrounding smaller trees & shrubs, but again, not these guys they took great care to make sure there was no collateral damage. I was referred to Cutters by a friend of mine. Dan came out to give me a quote on topping/limbing two huge Bradford Pears and scheduled me in a few days later. The crew that worked the trees were very professional and on point. They worked like a well oiled machine. Made the job look easy. Dan answered his phone, made himself available to meet and bid our project then gave us a fair quote to remove two large trees, trimming 5-6 others. It only got better from there, a team arrived at our house on time including 2 climbers and lots of equipment. They were efficient, professional and responsive to my requests. They ground the stumps completely (this was a problem with previous tree removal) and Dan came back out to review the work. The team loves bacon- only wish I had more of it that day. 5 stars all the way.
